It is customary to pay a fee to those who provide personal services. The standard fee I charge for my service is $350.00. This fee covers my travel expenses, a private consultation as we co-create a personalized event for your loved one, the time I invest in making final preparations for the service, and leading the service.

Typically, the funeral home or cemetery where a service is held will discuss with you my fee payment. Some funeral homes and cemeteries have established pre-determined fees for service officiants. I always agree to those pre-determined fees.

I am willing to negotiate my service fee if necessary. It is more important for you to be guided by a skilled and experienced leader and that your loved one is appropriately honored than for me to hold firm to my standard fee. I am, however, unable to officiate without receiving some kind of service fee. Thank you for understanding.

An additional service I provide is creating personalized memorial videos. More details about memorial videos can be found here. The fee for a personalized video is $300.00.
